Current Rates For Fine Tuning:

- $140 - Existing clients who tune within 6 months of first service
- $160 - Existing clients who tune within 1 year of first service
- $200 - Existing clients who tune within 2 years of first service
- $225 - Base rate for first service of a piano**

** If an existing client acquires a new piano, the first service of that new piano will be charged at the "first service" rate for the initial tuning service of the new piano.
** If a piano is moved to a new residence, the service will be charged at the "first service" rate for the initial tuning service in the new location.
** If an existing client goes two or more years without tuning, the first service rate will apply.

Major Pitch Raise Rates...

1) $380-$520 - Immediate Major Pitch-Raise to A440...
(Near immediate turn-around timeline possible with this service)
- First Visit ($380): Pitch-Raise, and Fine-Tuning
- Follow-up (recommended) ($140): A follow-up touch-up visit is highly recommended within one week after a major pitch raise and fine-tuning in preparation for a concert or recital
(A pitch-raise is only necessary if requested for immediate concert or recital service. This service does not fully stabilize a piano for long term tuning stability. Travel charges may apply depending on location).

2) $365-$505 - Major Stabilization Pitch-Raise package to A-440... 
(1.25 month turn-around timeline with this service)
- First Visit ($140): Pitch Stabilization Tuning which allows the strings to stretch and normalize under the increased pitch tension (not a fine tuning) 
- Second Visit ($225): Fine-Tuning visit one month later
- Third Visit (recommended) ($140): Unison-touch-up visit within one month of initial Fine-Tuning
(A pitch-raise is only necessary if requested. After this service, a piano will have very good long term tuning stability. A Stabilization-Tuning is not a Fine-Tuning. Travel charges may apply depending on location)

- A fuel surcharge of $25 will apply to all outlying areas of Calgary, such as Cochrane, Okotoks, Airdrie, and Chestermere.
- A fuel surcharge of $15 will be added for all areas south of Glenmore Trail.

- Saturday appointments, add $50 to the total.
- Sunday appointments and holidays, add $80 to the total.

- A service call fee of $60 will apply for any visit where tuning cannot take place due to a piano being untuneable, or scheduling errors on the part of the client.

- Please note that you should wait at least three weeks before you tune your piano if it was just moved. This allows the wood in the instrument to acclimatize to changes in humidity levels, and ultimately will give your piano greater tuning stability.
